England midfielder Curtis Jones has credited his teammates for helping him shine. As he scored on his debut in a 3-0 win over Greece in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday.

The ‘Reds’ midfielder stood full game and shot to close the box. When receiving the ball from the right wing from Morgan Gibbs-White that seemed to go backwards. But Jones was able to cross back and change the direction of the ball into the net. UFABET

The 23-year-old is proud to have scored in his first England game. But he would not have been able to do so without his teammates.

“Yes, the game’s launch also tries to create a memorable performance.” Optus Sport told reporters.

“Just try to be there, play freely, smile and enjoy the game.”

“I’m also glad to have a goal in my hands.”

“If you have the team options that we have. I believe I can still push higher, stay lower, and have the ball and create offensive plays.”

“The guys were also very helpful. For example, Jude asked to stay downstairs until he saw a chance to score a goal and he succeeded. He was really lucky to score.”

Curtis Jones is the ninth player to be capped for England. Following Alf Jones, Bill Jones, Harry Jones, Herbert Jones, Mick Jones, Phil Jones, Rob Jones and William Jones.

The most senior members of the England international family are the Smiths (20).
